Why not bring a piece of evolving Judaism into your week? Each Torah portion is so rich with so much to share! These small shabbat rituals are meant to be just a taste of Torah to connect with on Shabbat. Enjoy for yourself, or share at a Shabbat table near you. Use #shabbatrituals to share globally.

When God began to create heaven and earth—
the earth being unformed and void, with darkness over the surface of the deep and a wind from God sweeping over the water—

What have you created this week?

Creation can seem so challenging. It can be hard to imagine creating something out of nothing. Yet everyday we wake up anew and try to create our vision for a better world, for ourselves and those around us.

Shabbat ritual: Take out a post-it note (now or when Shabbat ends) and write what you intend to create tomorrow, this week, this year, or for your future. Share it with someone. Commit to this positive creation in your life. Put it somewhere where you will see it as a reminder of the type of life you are creating for yourself.
